Snowshoeing Tours & Backcountry Tours Experience some of the heaviest snowfall areas in the world. Our local guides will take you on the best route based on the day’s conditions and your schedule. Snowshoe tours are suitable for first-time participants. Backcountry tours are recommended for those who can ski intermediate-level slopes at a ski resort. Skiers, snowboarders, and splitboarders are all welcome. ■ Tour Dates Anytime (If you cannot find your preferred date on the calendar, please contact us.) ■ Tour Locations Kagura / Naeba / Echigo-Yuzawa Forest / Mt. Tairappyo / Mt. Mikuni / Hakkaisan, etc. We'll arrange it according to your request. ■ Meeting Point Snowshoe Tour: Echigo-Yuzawa Station at 9:00 a.m. Backcountry Tour: Kagura Ski Resort parking lot at 8:00 a.m. (The meeting place may change depending on the venue.) Meeting times can be adjusted—please inquire before making a reservation. We can also pick you up at your accommodation near the station or meet you there. (Depending on the distance of the pickup/drop-off, fuel costs may apply.) ■ Tour Fees (tax & guide fee included) Prices vary depending on the number of participants. 2 or more participants: ¥22,000 per person 1 participant: ¥33,000 per person Private group rate: ¥88,000 per group Snowshoe Tour capacity: 10 persons BC tour capacity:5 persons ■ Rental Gear ¥5,500 per set Includes: snowshoes, poles, and avalanche gear (beacon, probe, shovel) Splitboard: ¥5,500 per set ■ Tour Insurance You may purchase tour insurance through Office Chikka for ¥500 per person. If you already have mountain insurance or travel insurance, you do not need to purchase it.
